Michael leads EdgeCore’s land acquisition strategy and engagement with landowners, investors, joint venture partners, and advisors nationally, both at existing EdgeCore campus locations and at prospective new campuses and markets, with the combined perspective of supporting the growing needs of customers in the age of AI while deeply understanding the entitlements, community relations, and land use challenges emerging as campuses scale to levels larger than ever.
Michael brings more than 20 years of direct experience in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, and acquisitions as well as direct operational oversight in executive and leadership positions to EdgeCore. Prior to joining EdgeCore, Michael was Managing Director at Cielo Digital Infrastructure, a developer of data center solutions and digital infrastructure projects across the continental United States. Michael previously founded Principal Real Estate Partners, an independent advisory firm, and also served as Vice President at Jackson Oats Shaw Corporate Real Estate. He has held senior positions with other real estate and digital infrastructure companies such as NextEra Energy Resources, GIGA Data Centers, T5 Data Centers, DuPont Fabros Technology, DeepNines Technology, and HighTech Labs.
Michael holds a B.S./B.A. in Organization Development from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
